Welcome to AAPixels!

I'm so glad that I finally got the time to start a blog of my 10+ year old side job. I started this "micro-business" in 2010 when I was out of school and only had my sister's Gold Sony Vaio laptop and a not so bad internet connection. So, I downloaded which was then a very much older version of Photoshop which I think was CS3? I started messing around and edited a few selfies, photos of my friends with crazy backgrounds of which I will never be releasing in public 🤐. Then, a year later I had my first baby. I was stuck a lot at home and didn't have anything else in mind on how to make money so I decided to do a little research of my own on how I could turn my free time, a printer, and a few digital art/crafting skills into this business.

I had my second child in 2012 and stopped a few years, then went back again at a different location. Worked with a few people who own online shops on Facebook from different parts of the world where I designed most of their Logos, Cover photos, Customized Paper bags, Invoices, Envelopes and more. Had to move a couple of times though so I couldn't carry a lot of my resources anywhere and I had to leave a few from here and there. I finally landed in Davao City in 2016 where I got a job in the BPO industry as a call center agent. It took me 2 years plus to make a decision to finally continue AAPixels and added a few extra services with the help of my wonderful partner.

(It was Vonn's idea of using a piece of Bread as the logo came from the "Gotta get this bread" meme. lol. I also love toast so...)
